The Kampala International University (KIU) is a private, not-for-profit institution in Uganda. It was established in 2001 and assumed a chattered status in 2009. It is one of the few private institutions in Uganda to offer bachelor's and master's degrees. Located in the capital city, Kampala, the university offers degrees in international relations, business, and more. Students from over 50 countries have studied at KIU.
It has two main campuses: the main campus and the western campus. Both campuses are close to the city centre and offer a wide range of courses.
